BFeeding Moms: Teeth filings at Dentist while nursing-PLEASE HELP
I just got 2 silver tooth filings at the dentist and he said it was ok while nursing but a friend just told me it can be toxic. anyone know anything about this? I am nervous to nurse now

You can get fillings while pregnant so I'd imagine it's ok. Did your try looking on Kellymom.com? I'm sure it's on there somewhere.

The reason some people don't like the silver fillings is that they contain a small amount of mercury. However, they last a lot longer than getting a white filling. That's what I've been told. I wouldn't stop nursing your little one though!
