BF Question for evening feedings
Has anyone only b-fed in the evenings? I was b-feeding my daughter then ended up in the hospital for over a week with a kidney infection and lost a lot of my supply. My 7 week old daughter takes the bottle during the day but really likes to nurse @ night. Does anyone know how I can keep up my supply just for the PM feedings? is it possible? I have fenugreek pills. How many times a day should I pump to get her through the night? I am so bummed and really would like to at least continue @ nights. Right now I can pump about 1-2 oz in 20 min between both boobs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else got super depressed after they stopped b-feeding I miss that attachment.

Re: BF Question for evening feedings
So sorry about the kidney infection- what a thing to go through when you have a newborn.
That said, you can absolutely keep BFing at night. Just make sure to keep BFing her every night at around the same time and maybe pump a few times during the day if you want to build a freezer stash. Your body will regulate itself to produce milk at the times you are feeding/pumping.
But- you CAN get a full supply back as well if you really want to start BFing again during the day. FM me if you want advice on how to do that!
Good luck- and CONGRATS on your little one. I hope you're feeling better.
