BF Question
I just pumped a bit (for under 10-minutes) but want to stop so I can get in a shower before DS wakes. Can I just put a cap on what I pump, stick it in the fridge and add to it when I pump later today? Then can I pour it into a bag for freezing by the end of the day?

Re: BF Question

Re: BF Question
Yes, you can keep on adding and just freeze it all together.
Sometimes I combine milk from 2 consecutive days. IT is OK as long as you don't keep milk in the fridge for too long before freezing it.

Re: BF Question
You aren't supposed to add fresh milk to already chilled milk. That's like warming the already cold milk. They say chill both, then combine.
You can freeze fresh breastmilk within 24 hours of refrigerating.
