Better day for Fred
I just wanted to let you know that today was better.
OT came in finally..she'll be back Thursday and she is bringing food to cook lunch and she will have Fred do it for my parents.
She got him in the shower, she told dad where to hook up more grab bars and the PT is getting his leg adjusted so he can wear it more. It doesn't fit him right.
Hopefully more better days to come.
This is a long road but more to come. Social worker is coming Friday for mental health counseling and the SLP that he saw at St. Johnland was willing to come to the house but she is booked. She is recommending a friend of hers who does the same thing along with cognitive therapy.
Fred seems to like the young pretty therapists, so, if he responds to that, bring them on!

Seriously, I am glad he is doing better.
Yep, I knew he hated the speech therapist because she was like a mother figure. He likes cool, young, pretty things..good for him!

He's got a long way to go but today was better. I hope that over some time in a few weeks he will take more initiative and my parents will get a better handle on him.
