Hi
I am interested in looking for a house in the Bethpage area. Does anyone live there or know anything about the area.

My DH grew up in Bethpage. Graduated Bethpage high. Its a nice area. We looked there but houses were more money then in Levittown.The only place I heard mixed things on is the # streets by the train tracks.

I am in the process of buying a house there right now, in Plainedge SD and its a great neighborhood and the prices have actually come down there. A lot of young couples are buying there right now too - so our realtor says...

I grew up in Bethpage and it is a great area. Maybe the # streets right by the train are not as desirable, but most of houses on the # streets are nice and filled with families, nothing wrong with that area at all!

I live in Bethpage..north on the border of Plainview. Really nice place. We bought 3.5 years ago. We really love it here. Nice people and good schools.

Right by the train Tracks.. By lauras pub (I think thats the name) and in thouse areas. I know someone who lives right NEXT to the train station so im not saying its horrible just might be nicer places
