beta question...esp for dr b girls
just went at lunchtime for my beta at Quest. They said it would be ready by 4pm. Do I need to email Dr. B to let him know that I went so he knows to check the results or will he just call me?

I would call the office so that they know to keep an eye out for it.
Quest has a tendency of not getting the results back stat.

I have had issues with Quest doing my beta Stat. I go at 6-6:30 in the morning and have never heard back before 4 pm. Usually, it has been later, like 6-7 pm. I always call the office around 4, then send Dr. B an email so he makes sure to follow up.
I actually put in a complaint to Quest, after being told that a couple of betas hadn't been processed Stat. A woman called me regarding my complaint and explained that for Quest "stat" just means same day, not within a matter of hours like in the hospital. I don't know if that is true or she was just making an excuse...
