Beta confirms the negative
Which I was prepared for, so no more upset than I was. A little relieved that it's negative and not another chemical, I know that sounds crazy. Anyway, they are now precsribing Metformin to add to the mix. I already had the insulin testing and it came back normal. What will the Metformin do for me? Of course I will ask at my next appointment. And since I haven't gotten AF yet, I shouldn't be in a huge rush to pick up this prescription, right?

I don't have insulin problems but I am on Metformin too. I believe it helps to improve egg quality.
I was on that and a slue of other drugs and got pregnant last spring. I'm on it again and in my 3rd IUI cycle. I take 1500mg and have no issues. Ask about adding on the dosage gradually (ex. 500 ... 1000.... etc... for a few days to a week apart)

Thanks! I will ask when I go in for CD 3 bloodwork exactly what we are going to do. I am also signed up for injection class on the 30th...
