Beta and beta and...bleeding, oh my
So I did my first 2 betas after ivf on tuesday and yesterday and everything is looking great...I'm pregnant! Tuesday was 13dpo and beta was 211 and yesterday ut was 486. Now literallly as I was receiving the news from Dr. B on the phone last evening, I went to use the bathroom an found some dark pink/reddish spotting - considerable enough to be there each time I wipe. He tells me this is fine and normal and I won't need to come in again until my first sono on 11/30. 11/30???????? That feels like an eternity to me! I woke up this morning and it is still the same with the spotting. I can't help but feel really worried.....anyone have any experience with this? Dr. B also said my progesterone and other levels were perfect. So why the scary blood?

Congrats!!!!
Are you on progesterone or suppositories? I have been told it was normal, and sometimes your body is getting rid of old blood. Good luck!!

Yes...I'm on Crinone. The discharge (TMI) has been mostly white and then it started to turn pinkish over the last couple days, but now it's like a dark blood color.

So update - Dr. B says it is definitely the Crinone and with the numbers I have that he is certain I have nothing to worry about. He still says no reason to come in until sono. Guess I have to trust he knows his stuff!

id definitely try to wait it out for a sono for as long as you can... he wont be able to see anything now probably anyway... id probably ask if i could go for another beta tho...
it could be anything, irritation, Subchorionic hematoma...
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bled a little when I was pg (had a mc, but that had nothing to do with the bleeding). When I called the doc, he said it was the most common call that they get from their pregnant patients. Since your numbres are good, it's probably just old blood. Congrats!

As long as it's just some spotting I wouldn't be worried.. plus the numbers are great so that's what really matters!!

Had my whole first tri after FET and I'm 26 weeks pregnant! Hang in there, I freaked a ton and it was stressful but they never found a cause for mine!
