Best tablet for a toddler
I want to get DD a tablet for Christmas bc she loves playing w our phones and Ipads. I don't really want to spend as much as an Ipad bc she is only 2 1/2. Are there any less expensive tablets that will let her watch some cartoons, videos and play a few games?

Personally I would just get an ipad mini and put a good case on it.
We have had the leap pad and all those other devices but at $100+ and then each game being $20+ it adds up SOOOO quickly.
They have a million free games on the ipad and my kids get bored of them fast. The leap pad and similar have never been able to hold their interest nearly as long as the ipad.

iPad mini. Get it at target for $199 when they offer it, that way you can use it too

My DD is 2 1/2 and uses our Kindle Fire and loves it. It has a kids mode that's password protected so they cant log out, make internet purchases etc...

I think my DD is getting our ipad and we'll get a new one. She doesn't let me use it :) As soon as I pick it up, DD comes over to play with it.

We have a LeapPad Ultra, Nabi, Kindle Fire and iPad Mini between my boys. They all played with the iPad the most and barely touch the rest. Each now have their own iPad Mini. Honestly, I would just spend the money on a iPad.
