Obsessed with anylist which someone on here recommended. Use it as a shared grocery list, to do lists. Love sharing the grocery list with dh so he can go in and add what he wants.

Hopper - which allows you enter any location and see the typical prices for travel to that location based on month/week. And once you pick a location, you can ask them to track and they'll tell you when it goes down and based on trends, if they feel it'll go down anymore or go up
Waze - awesome traffic tracker. LOVE!!!
Stop - if you like Scattergories, you'll love this game. You can play against your FB friends or randoms. You get 5 categories, 1 letter and its timed. If you are the first one to go, complete them as fast as you can and stop the time....that'll be how long your opponent has, but they dont know what that length of time is.
Color Switch - another fun game/time waster Sorta like Flappy Bird but better
Spotify - for all things music
Venmo - great money transferring site
MSQRD - has all the fun face filters like Snapchat has
OK clearly I like apps

Only 7 apps? I was going to say it looks like you don't like apps...
I just checked my Android phone, and I've downloaded 85 apps so far. Some are games, but lots of them are camping/hiking related. Many are tool related (distance measure, level, wifi detector, metal detector, etc) Some are related to locations (Hershey Park, Royal Caribbean cruise ships, Disney apps, flight tracking apps). Some are tied to hardware (LEGO Mindstorm interface, TV remote, Dish Network interface, Breathalyzer interface, etc) Office apps, like Adobe Acrobat, Word processor, spreadsheet, etc.
I use my phone almost like a computer now. I can remotely connect to computers, but the screen is too small to make it convenient.
For OP: Many apps are cross-platform. Are there any types of apps you are looking for?

Pepperplate I love to keep all my recipes from different sites organize and I can make grocery list from it too Wunderlist is great to keep list of different things from Christmas list to grocery list places we want to visit, movies etc I can share every list with DH or sometimes with my friend regarding books or restaurants we want to try Stocard.. Instead of having a million store cards attach to my keys I can have them all on my phone and just show my phone Starbucks app allow me to place order and be ready when I get to Starbucks counter (no waiting!)

Giphy - you can send gifs via text and it's amazing and makes texting so freaking fun. Sometimes my sister and I just send Giphys all day instead of using words.
