best double stroller
I keep going back and forth about whether or not i need a double stroller...
DD will be 3 when DS arrives. My MIL will be watching them 2 days a week , we only have 1 car so i'll be home with the two of them a lot this summer, etc...and I am not sure for things like going to the zoo if DD will always be happy walking and I have the uppa baby and thought about a rumble board but unsure if DD will be happy with that all the time when her brother will be getting a ride.
What did you buy if you were in a similar situation? It cant be too big bulky bc MIL needs to be able to put it in her car and we live in an apt...and it needs to work with an infant and a 3 year...
Double city mini?
Help and thanks!

Re: best double stroller
Maybe a Sit n Stand will work for you. I don't recommend a side by side. The ages are too different, and that will make the weights too far off, and will make steering and handling the side by side too difficult. I have a sit n stand, and like it, and I also have a Graco Quattro Tour Duo and love it. The Graco is heavy, but is like a tank! My DD (the older one in the stroller) really won't sit well in the sit n stand, so I don't use it much, but she does well in the Graco.
BTW: the Graco Quattro Tour Duo fold up to be the same size as the regular Quattro Tour; the Duoglider fold is much larger.

Re: best double stroller
My DDs are three years apart, I bought a city select. This way it can be a single too. The three year old loves sitting facing her sister.
The only issue with the rumble seat for the vista is the weight limit - city select both seats are full size

I have the britax bready and its like the uppa. it is heavy though and bulky. But since you have it already I would get the second seat. dd is almost 4 and very tall for age and sits in our rumble seat no problem and the baby 1, sits up top.

best double stroller
i didn't get one yet but have been researching...I have a 2 yo and 3 mth old. I'm waiting to see if i really need it, my 2yo walks everywhere and the only time i think i will need it is for a big trip like to the zoo or something but then DH will be with me. Just not sure if it's worth the investment. If i do get one i think i'll get the citi mini gt, personally when i was looking at the front to back like citi select i felt like it would be uncomfortable and they would be on top of each other. Plus you couldn't recline the baby seat if the toddler was in it too.

best double stroller
Forgot the brand But there's a double stroller that closes in 3 seconds. That's like their catch line. I have it and loved it - it was so simple and lightweight and was very reasonable.
I can find out what brand it is for you. I don't use it anymore so the name escapes me.

I love my Joovy X2. My kids are 17 months apart & I used it really for maybe 1.5yrs. Now, the younger is 2 & she walks everywhere.
I picked it because it's basket is the biggest I've ever seen & my DD did not scream while it it.
It's also cheap (so good to use for a short period of time).

Re: best double stroller
well, my two kids are 9 months and almost 3 and i have gotten a lot of use out of our double city mini, but thats because i take a lot of walks around the neighborhood and to stores. it handles great and is a smooth ride. however, it is heavy to load into the trunk of the car, but then again what double stroller isn't? i know albeebaby is having a sale on them right now, so maybe for a discount it might be worth having?

Re: best double stroller
I have a britax b ready. I got it since you can use it as a single or double. My older daughter is almost three and the baby is now four months. I was on the fence because my older daughter wasnt a fan of being in the stroller before but she actually loves sitting in the lower seat and getting in and out as she pleases. I chose the britax over the city select solely because it was a lot cheaper at the time. We use it a lot. It makes it easier to do stuff with them and it is super easy to steer so I can use it in the grocery store and just carry a basket.
