Re: Best beach tent?
So glad you posted this I'm looking for one too
My father in law has one called InsTent- large, pops up.hs a "floor" so it keeps you off the sand. I used it for my baby at the beach but I felt that because the little windows on it were so high up it didn't allow for enough of a breeze. That being said I used it a bunch of times, baby seemed happy and all was fine
I was researching something today called a SportBrella- of course on the website it looks great but I've never seen one in person. It's a huge umbrella that you stake down on a 45degree angle and it has side flaps that go all the way down and also get staked down. Has windows for a breeze, supposed to be wind rain and sun proof. Supposedly easy to use but it comes in 8 or 9 feet diameter. Also, no "tent" on the bottom so you're sitting in sand.

I have the sport brella... It is nice... It is easy to set up. has windows in it... comes with stakes.... I have used it at the beach a few times and had no real issues with it..

Re: Best beach tent?
It can be set up all different ways... I don't think a pack and play would fit though

Re: Best beach tent?
after going to the beach this past weekend I purchased a sports brella/ beach tent. Colemans makes one but IMO is smaller. If you do an Amazon search on beach tents it should be the first one that comes. IIt Got great reviews has lots of personal pictures that gives you a better view how many can benefit from it. It's about $50. I saw a family have it at the beach an my DH said buy that for next time here it is:
umbrella tent
