Belly button popping and laproscopic surgeries

I hear if you've had laproscopic surgeries ur belly button wont pop. is that true? im kinda looking forward to that. ive had both my appendix and gallbladder out.

I don't see why your belly button wouldn't pop. Maybe it would be a bit less prominent if your scar is thick. Mine didn't really pop but I think it was on its way. I only went to 36 weeks. I had a laparoscopic surgery that had to be converted to an open surgery.

I had laparoscopic surgery and was never able to see the scar inside of my belly button - now at 13 weeks, I am able to see it clearly. I am assuming that it's only a matter of time before it will pop out.

What would having laparoscopic surgery have to do with whether or not it pops out? (I'm not being snarky - I'm honestly curious )


I am hoping and praying that mine doesn't pop though. My belly button is super sensitive (it's a deep innie) and I get nauseous if DH even gets close to it!
