Bella Band... How does it work?
I feel like an idiot, esp since I'm considering buying one, but I don't 'get it'.  How do they work? Oh, and while I'm at it, where do I get it? Would Macy's (Herald Square) have it?

The band is a piece of elastic fabric (like a tube top for your pants and belly. LOL). You can leave your pants unbuttoned and place the belly band over them and it will keep the zipper from falling, and from it being noticable to the world that your pants aren't buttoned! 
I bought one but haven't really used it b/c it tends to ride up in the back constantly. I felt like I spent the day pulling on it. I know some girls on here have had wonderful success with it.
BTW-I'm not sure if you can get it at Macy's I bought mine in a maternity clothing store (Maternity works in the Source Mall.)

I don't think Macy's has it. Try Nordstrom, Babystyle, or any other maternity store.

Eileen, if you are near Macy's Herald Sq, the Manhattan Mall is right across from there and there is a Motherhood store in the mall..they should have it

Motherhood is no longer there  It moved to 57/Madison to Destination Maternity.
