Being backed into a corner
how do you act when you feel that you're being backed into a corner. i yell, get angry and i don't want to talk about the topic/subject any more

it had to do with family about me requesting days off at work. i just felt like i was being backed into a corner

I just say "I can't take it anymore".
I won't bring the subject up for a few days. I'll let things "settle" in my mind.

I often say that I think I am a VERY nice person until you back me into a corner. Then watch out because I don't take any crap and I will bite when backed into a corner. In fact, I have learned that I have that reputation at work.

When you say "backed into a corner" what do you mean...that you have no options? For me I don't ever do anything I don't want to do. I have no problems saying no.
