Anyone have a list of questions to ask the peditrician when you go for a consultation?
Also, are these consultations free or do you use your insurance? Thanks!

We just went for a consultation yesterday. It did not cost us anything. We were only there for about 20 minutes.
Anyway, here are some questions for you that we used.
What are the office house and do they have after hours?
Who answers the phone durinring and after hours?
What is the length of wait times?
Do you have a Nurse practitioner or Physician assistant covering for you and do they return the phone calls ?
Is there a sick child and well child waiting room?
Is your bloodwork done in the office or do you have to go to a lab?
What 's the protocol for well child visits?
What hospitals are they affiliated with ?
These are just a few. hope that helps.
