bedroom sets

I can't find one I like. We already searched raymour & flanagan, ashley & bob's. I looked at jc penney online. Any other stores you've used and would recommend?

TIA

Re: bedroom sets

We got ours from Macy's - I am very happy with the quality BUT it doesn't have full extension drawers - make sure whatever set you buy it has fulll extension drawers.

There's also Pottery Barn.

Re: bedroom sets

Whatever place ou decide to buy through, I HIGHLY suggest you check them out on Better Business Bureau first!!!!!! It will save you alot of headaches!!!! I had a horrible experience with rooms unlimited in medford and had i read their report on BBB, i woulda never touched them

Anyhoo, I looked for months for a bedroom set that had everything I wanted... Learned ALOT in the process... How drawers are made etc.. Wound up getting the Leighton collection from Ashley, BUT bought it through highpointfurnituresales.com ... They are direct from NC and have an A+ record on BBB... I saved about 1k going through them instead... What you do is... find a set you like and then reuqest a quote through the website... Someone will call you back and give you the price which includes taxes, delivery, and setup...

ETA: I went with the ashley set in the end bc it had dove-tailed drawers which were on metal sliders/gliders (alot are on wood)... The drawers fully extend out (some dont)... We also decided to go with a bed that did not need a boxspring (keep in mind cost and what you'd like better)

Re: bedroom sets

If you spend 1 day on 110, you're bound to find something you like (or at least a manufacturer you'd like to look into more)

Seigerman's had some higher end sets like Kincaid

I wont tell you which ones to stay away from on 110 bc my post will more than likely get removed, but just research the company on BBB if you deicde to buy local.... You can always see if they'll price match after getting a NC quote but most times, they are shocked and cant come close to NC's pricing

We got ours at The Place in Farmingdale. My sister swears by Macy's furniture.
