Bed Skirts
How many of you use them?
Currently we have a metal frame and I'm unable to raise it so my skirt hangs onto the floor too far for my likeing. I was wondering if anyone has put their beds on blocks in order to accomidate the skirt or should I have the skirt altered?
It's a real PITA b/c I have had to order King size comforters to cover, then the shams are too big.
Im looking for suggesstions on how to make it look nice.

I have a platform bed now so I don't use a bed skirt anymore.
However, when I used to have a metal frame with a bed skirt and the skirt was too long, I just folded it over a bit in the middle of the skirt so it wouldn't hang on the floor. Then with the mattress on top it never moved.

Bed Skirts come in different sizes.....Our bed we put on bed lifts to have storage under our bed..we purchased an 18" bedskirt which is perfect..

We use them on both our MB and the guest bedroom. DH just likes the look, so I agreed to it for no other reason. It does block the items, so no one knows we have things under our bed.
