Bear with me - Another newborn bottle question for the BTDT moms...
Easy one this time...
Wide necks or regular for a newborn? Does it really make a difference? Should I just start with regular so when Zippy is ready to hold the bottle himself (unlike his big sister), it will be an easier transition for small hands?
Keep in mind I ONLY used Drop-ins with Abby so this is INDEED new territory for me. Thanks again ladies.

i like the regular bottles..
i found that my boys had a hard time with the wide neck nipples... they still do.

I notice DS does better with the wide necks bot I'm also nursing him so I think that makes a difference... the truth is he does he does fine with both but it takes him a minute or so to latch on to the smaller because it's different from what he's used to.
If you're not bfing then I'd say stick with regular nipples.

ITA. I use the playtex drop in bottles and he has had no nipple confusion. If you're not BFing, then I don't think it really matters.

I used regular ones in the beginning and also have some widenecks. Regular ones are really all you need.

Well after this baby comes, the next set of hands that will touch them will either be DH's or a damn good plastic surgeon because I am NOT BFing at all this time. Im thinking a nice lift and perhaps a firm yet bouncy C should do the trick.
