beachy theme bedroom
Did anyone do this? What color did you paint? What kind of decorations would you recommend? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and pics are helpful

Re: beachy theme bedroom
Oooh I like beachy bathrooms!
Your opportunities for colors can be beige, lavender, sea green/blue.....navy blue, cream....you can do a lot of colors, as long as the decor is with your theme, you know?
I'd have a little bowl of sea shells, maybe some hand soap that is beach smelling..
you can go to home goods, they have a lot of beachy stuff around the store.

Re: beachy theme bedroom
I have light teal colored walls and white furniture. I have the shabby chic duvet cover in white with teal pillowcases with a coral design and light teal sheets. I have a giant starfish on my nightstand and I have a shelf above my bed with some antique teal bottles on it with starfish in them its so cute

Re: beachy theme bedroom
I really like this look a lot. A friend of mine just did this look in her master bedroom and she used a lot of white with turquoise and orange (almost coral colored) accents. It's really pretty.
I think lighter furniture -- white or a light, blonde wood -- looks good with this look, especially if the furniture is distressed.
Depending on your windows, I like plantation shutters or just simple sheers as window treatments.
I think a ceiling fan adds a beachy feel. Plants -- especially large ones -- can give a lush, tropical feel. I would maybe add a tropical floral pattern with the colors you choose for the room into the mix as an accent (maybe throw pillows or a chair cushion?).

I Used bm shabby chic throughout and white slipcovers on everything. In some rooms turquoise colored accessories but mainly everything is white. I also love lucite accessories especially the ghost chair. It makes everything light airy and Informal
