Beaches vs. Atlantis vs. Other?
--Just saw similar post on travel - oops, sorry. If anyone has anything to add great, otherwise I found some info. on the other posts.
Looking to go to Caribbean in Nov. with 20 month old. Are the All Inclusive's worth it? I was looking at Beaches Turks Caicos- but pricey. Are Atlantis or other hotels just as good for toddlers?
Atlantis and some others seemed expensive too and then I figured when I add in food, it may be just same as Beaches. Any feedback or ideas are appreciated! TIA!

Re: Beaches vs. Atlantis vs. Other?
I didn't think Atlantis was all inclusive. We went to Beaches 2 years ago. While it was pricey, I thought it was worth it. When they say everything is included, it is! The room we had was pretty basic but the grounds are beautiful. It was probably the best vacation we ever had. I'm trying to talk my husband into going back next year. He thinks it is a lot of money so well see. If I have it my way, well go back

Re: Beaches vs. Atlantis vs. Other?
We loved Beaches and are likely going back. My kids were 9mos and 3yo when we went and it was great for them. We considered Atlantis but I read in a parenting mag that it was really better for kids 5yo+ so we decided to save that for down the road.

Re: Beaches vs. Atlantis vs. Other?
Atlantis is not all inclusive and it is VERY expensive. My boss recently went and said that food was OUTRAGEOUS! He got his son a glass of milk at breakfast- a small glass- it was $8!
You might be better off with Beaches since it includes everything.

Re: Beaches vs. Atlantis vs. Other?
I went to Atlantis with a two year old and we had a great time. I wanted a caribbean vacation with my DS. We got a package deal with which included breakfast so i'm not sure about 8 dollars for milk. But if you average out everything it wasn't that bad. I was great to have everything right there. I call it the caribbean's disney. I'll go again

Re: Beaches vs. Atlantis vs. Other?
OMG. I LOVE BEACHES!! We are going back in Oct for our 3rd time. It is just the best place ever. We are big travelers and have been everywhere, but always return to Beaches. First trip DS was 18mths, next when 30mths and DD was 6mths and this time 3 and 19mths. So much for kids and parents to do separate or together. Kids love Elmo day camp - cooking with cookie monster, movie night, story time with Abbie, Sesame street shows and parade, water park..and we love that they can be there till 10pm. We drop them off for nap time at 1-5, then 2/3 times we drop them off so we can have dinner alone. BEST BEST BEST BEST! All the resteraunts - except the adult ones are kids friendly. I can't rave enough...I give up all my gifts for the year so I can go back every year!
