Beaches Turks & Caicos
Has anyone been? Is the price worth it? Thinking about going for Spring Break next year. I got a rate for the hotel but flights are yet not available. Can anyone estimate how much flights would be for that week?

Re: Beaches Turks & Caicos
I can't talk about flights prices, since I don't really remember, but, IMO, Beaches is worth it. We went there a couple of times and it was always great. Rooms are great, service is fantastic. I'm not picky about food, but I found a good variety of restaurants. If you have little ones, the shows are great for them. The last time we went, DS was older so he didn't care so much about the Elmo's shows and etc, but he had a great time in the pools, beach and the kids area.
They are very open to guests comments and the service has been probably the greatest, in my experience.
I'm guessing since you are ahead of time, you can boot flights at a good price when they come out.

We would love to go. It does seem rather $$. I quickly priced it out. For 1 weeks basic room $8200. (Not including air). Is that about right?

Re: Beaches Turks & Caicos
My friend went two years in a row and they loved it. This year they tried something new - Finest Resort Playa Mujeres. She said it was amazing and the food was WAY better then Beaches. They had a swim up room, and she said it was awesome. For me personally, Finest looks way more appealing for me and my family and it's significantly cheaper and a shorter flight.

I do recall the food being pretty bad at Beaches . And I felt it was way way way overpriced for what it was.
