Beaches near Holbrook
Does anyone know if ther aer any local beaches around the holbrook area (around Sayville, Bayport, Patchogue)? I want to take my 3 year old but I don't feel like going all the way to Robert Moses. Thanks.

there is a very small beach near the fire island ferries & Lands End in Sayville. and I mean SMALL!

Lake Ronkonkoma has a few beaches. It's on the lake, so you don't have to worry about waves or anything if you want to go in the water a bit.
There's a town beach between the end of Motor Pkwy and Ocean Ave.
There's a county beach on the north side of the lake, on Portion Rd (Rt 16).
Both beaches have playgrounds and bathrooms.
