Beach Baby themed shower

Hi everyone!
I was thinking of having a beach themed shower. Has anyone ever had one or been to one before? I think decorating will not be so hard, but I am trying to think of a cute favor that is not expensive and that is practical and that goes along with the theme....any suggestions would help! I plan on having the shower in June.

Do you mean a "Beach Baby" shower or a Baby Shower on a beach? What type of location are you going to have it? On a beach? Backyard? Restaurant?

Maybe you can give sunblock with a baby cookie attached?

Maybe a cute beach bag!! And you can fill it with beachy stuff, like a beach ball (or not fill it).

The centerpieces can be buckets and pails filled with sand and shells with balloons attached!

And you can sit in a beach chair with umbrella when opening gifts!

I love planning parties!!!

My friend had a beach themed bridal shower... I have to ask her more of the details of what she had.

Sounds like fun! How much were you looking to spend for favors?

I got this ice scream scooper at a bridal shower and i still use it. They make more stuff with that design as well. Like bottle openers and wine stoppers.

I loved the sunblock idea!

Also a beach towel would be fun and something everyone can use!

I just thought since I am due in Aug and with the shower in June a beach theme would be fun. I am not into characters or animals so I kinda wanted to go with something different. The ice cream scoop is fun! I also like the beach towel idea . . . my shower list is pretty hefty. I want to trim it back a lot! I am going to check the towel site out now! I am also starting to think I want to do it at my house. I have a very large backyard.
