Be Our Guest Restaurant
Has anyone been there? I was looking for reservations and there happened to be an opening, so I grabbed it.
Is it good for young kids? I thought it was a character thing for some reason, but then saw it wasn't.
I thought I saw somewhere that at the end there is a meet and greet with Belle?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

The restaurant is beautiful. The food is just pretty good. It is not a character meal, but at the end there is a meet and greet and photo op with the Beast. About every 20 minutes or so while you're dining, they will announce "your host, the Beast" and he will walk through the dining rooms into the meet and greet area.

Oh, so no Belle? I have two little girls. When I saw beauty and the beast I thought it might be a good alternative to Cinderella's castle (which seems impossible to get).

BOG is hard to get. We couldn't get one for our last trip so we had CS lunch there instead. Kids loved the decor/atmosphere but we thought the food was eh at best. Just the beast no belle at dinner. Have you tried Akershus we did that and the castle and the girls liked the interaction better at Akershus. If you can't get CRT try for Norway instead.

If you got a reservation, keep it. I couldn't get one on our last trip. It had just opened. We thought we could eat at the casual counter portion but there was like a 90 minute wait at 11:00!!

Be Our Guest Restaurant
Loved it. The castle is very realistic to the movie so if your kids watched the movie they will love this place! Food was decent and it is the only place in Magic Kingdom to get a glass of wine so that alone is a plus! : ). Belle is not there, just the beast. As others have said Norway is a great alternative to the Castle and all the princess are there.

No Belle. The castle is cool though. DH andI had dinner there and it was just ok. We've definitely had better meals in disney but it wasn't awful.
We went back the next day with SIL for lunch (they were doing a castmember test on the fastpass meal selection) and lunch was better than dinner.
