BDing question..
Ok I am doing an IUI cycle this month but I not sure if it's OK to BD for fun during the month. We just started injections, tonight is our 3rd night, and I go back to the RE tomorrow for a sono/BW to see what's going on. Is it OK to be BDing right now? Should we be using a condom? I am so lost!!! I know we are suppose to not BD when it gets closer to IUI time right? I guess I should ask these questions when I am there, but I never think of them until after!!!

Re: BDing question..
My RE said we can BD as normal while doing the injections.
He suggested we abstain for 3 days before the IUI - we ended up abstaining for 7 days and DH had a great post-wash count, so I'd do that again next time!
We had the IUI on Friday, and the RE said we can continue normal BD also.
HTH!

Re: BDing question..
I doubt they would know and if they do, who cares? I mean, shower as you normally would before the appointment to make sure you don't smell like BD, but otherwise go for it.
I was cautious about this too when I first started, now I don't care. They expect you to be BDing, you know. After all, that's how babies used to be made.
Honestly, though, we were told by my RE that BDing can help things, as your bodies give off hormones that can be beneficial to the whole process.
Go light some candles and have fun.
