bday/christmas ideas for 3 year old boy??

DS turns 3 in November, and then obviously Christmas is right after that
I feel like he has a ton of toys and is good with clothes.... but people are asking me what to get him. So any ideas?? Doesn't necessarily have to be a toy, but even just something your DS uses everyday. i'm hoping if people just start listing stuff, then some stuff will jump out at me and i'll get some ideas!

I go for the stuff that doesn't get played with once then never used again...

Legos
art stuff (I love going to a craft store and making a basket of stuff like foam stickers, paper, crayons, etc)
games - Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Hungry Hippo
clothes for Winter or next Spring/Summer
GC to clothing store, toy store, etc

One of my fav gifts the boys got was a book along with a GC from Barnes and Noble.

fun ornaments (I'm Jewish, but friends of ours get a new ornament for their kids each year)

bday/christmas ideas for 3 year old boy??

I started a wish list on toys r us. I just go through the website and look. So far, besides the thomas the train things I have....an easel, playdoh, color wonder, puzzles, easy games (hungry hippos, apples to apples, a counting game and letter recognition game) a small 2 wheeler, a soccer net for outside, a soccer ball, music instruments.

bday/christmas ideas for 3 year old boy??

Last year, lego duplos, wooden blocks, and Thomas the Train sets were a huge hit (he still plays with them). Also - Matchbox cars were a big hit.

Planes should be coming out on DVD before the holidays as well.
