BCPs Check!!

I'm SO happy that they're done- I've been on them for 21 days with pretty much a 24 hour headache that hasn't left in 3 weeks... now I'm just hoping it gets out of my system today or tomorrow and that the lupron doesn't continue my headache (I'm 1/2 way done w/ that!!!) Chat Icon
If all goes well tomorrow then I THINK I either start gonal-f tomorrow night OR at least get the protocol as to when to start it, because I go in for bloodwork and my baseline sonogram tomorrow morning to see what's going on... I know my dr said I 'should' be seeing AF this week now that I'm done w/ my BCPs... so maybe I'm supposed to wait for her to show before taking the gonal-f? I'm so confused- I wish they'd just draw me out a map so I know everything ahead of time... but one step at a time I guess, so I don't get overwhelmed, right?

I had to get a bleed (my nurse called it a Lupron Period) before I could start the Gonal-F. I got a bleed 3 or 4 days after stopping the BCPs, then on CD3 (it only lasted 2 days anyway) I went for my baseline sono and bloodwork and was instructed to start the Gonal at that point.

Congrats, sweetie; so glad you're done with the BCP's. I know how horrible you've been feeling with those headaches.

UGH- I wonder why they're having me go in tomorrow then... Chat Icon

if I'm just going to have to go back in a few days all over again... maybe just to see how I'm responding to the lupron/responded to the BCPs... He has me on 10 units of lupron/night... so maybe he'll decide if he want's to increase/decrease it based off my bloodwork and sono? Guess at this point I'll just wait it out and see... thanks!!!
