I make the mushrooms myself... stuffed mushrooms are sooo easy to make! wipe them down, throw the stems in the food processor with garlic, breadcrumbs, parm/romano cheese, black pepper, thyme, and EVOO. stuff them and bake with a little butter on each one and white wine in the bottom of the pan! YUM!
Taco cups.... make taco meat put them in tostitoes scoops, topped with cheese, salsa, sour cream (whataver you like). You could make your own cups with wonton wrappers, but the tostitoes are easier!
google the recipe for "kraft spinach balls" they are perfect too! I leave out the mushrooms from the recipe, but perfect for any party/BBQ, etc!

Re: BBQ Appetizers
We're going simple on the appetizers this Sunday, since we're having 30+ people and we're having two huge main courses. We're doing:
fruit and cream cheese dip vegetables and dip deviled eggs antipasto platter

Re: BBQ Appetizers
I went to a bbq once where they had chicken cutlet cut up to bite size pieces on the tooth pick with a small piece of roasted red pepper and mozz cheese. Prob alot of prep work, but they were really good and you can eat them hot or cold.
