BBB registry
Someone bought something off our registry and it didn't come off. They had given the registry to be scanned at checkout, but nothing. Now I'm worried that this is going to happen with other stuff on my registry.
Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened to me but I have no idea if the person who purchased the gift actually gave the cashier the registry to scan. It was very easy to call BBB and just tell them the item I received and to mark it as purchased.

BBB registry
yes it happened to me with a few diff things. i ended up getting two pack n plays at my shower even though i only registered for one (though it kinda works out since i think i'll want a second one for my mom's house)
A few other things that were purchased weren't taken off also but nobody else gave them.
Oh, and the opposite situation also happened. A friend went to buy something and the store told her that it had already been purchased for me but in reality, it wasn't.
Very annoying!

Re: BBB registry
I didn't have a problem with my BBB registry at all. Sometimes when someone bought something that wasn't on the registry (I guess in addition to things that were), those items were actually added to my online registry, which I thought was helpful for ppl thinking of buying other things.

Re: BBB registry
Thanks. The person said they gave the cashier the registry and it has been a couple of days so it should be off. We just ended up deleting it off our registry. I just hope this doesn't continue to happen!

BBB registry
I wouldn't delete it. You can just call BBB and tell them the person bought it but it was never removed.

ITA..don't delete. You don't want to run into a situation where if you try to return it without the gift receipt and it's not on your registry.
I would add it back on and call BBB.
