baths in air spa
So I know we're supposed to stay away from hot tubs....we have an air spa tub in our house, which is similar to a whirlpool but uses air instead of jets, or something along those lines...do you think thats still not safe???

Re: baths in air spa
My midwife said that the reason why they don't reccomend hot tubs when you are pregnant is because they are really hot and when you are pregnant you have a harder time regulating your temperature and you are more susceptible to becoming light headed, faint etc. and can pass out.
I take a bath every once in a while for my back. I just make sure the water isn't too warm and DH keeps an eye on me while i'm in there.

Re: baths in air spa
Depends on the temp. Anything too hot is a no-go. But that sounds sooo nice!!!

Re: baths in air spa
i heard bacteria issues, but i was thinking that was more for a communal hot tub, not a personal bath....

Re: baths in air spa
My dr told me today hot baths are fine. I only stay in about 10-15 mins anyway. If you feel yourself getting too hot just get out and drink a cold glass of water
