bathroom vanity help
Here is some background info first. We have three bathrooms in the house. One on the first floor and two upstairs. The one i am having the most trouble redoing will be used by my two toddlers. It is the only one with a bathtub in the house. So my problem is I have picked a hickory colored floor tile that looks like real wood and i feel that the only vanity that will match is a painted vanity in the off white with a nice glaze. its by kraftmaid. I wanted to know if anyone has a light colored vanity in their bathroom that is used by kids and if so is it holding up. The man in the store was trying to talk me out of it b/c he said it would chip. I feel like so many ppl are using this color in their kitchens now so it must be able to with stand that kind of traffic..
sorry so long!

Re: bathroom vanity help
when I was doing my bathroom, every designer I spoke with talked me out of a painted white wood vanity. Because of the moisture in the bathroom, they said chipping was very possible. I will tell you I have a cream color painted crib set for my daughter...it's chipped in less than two years. Biggest mistake ever.
