Bathroom Exhaust Fans
Can anyone recommend any places for installing bathroom exhaust fans - preferably in Nassau?
Thanks

Re: Bathroom Exhaust Fans
my DH and friend did ours a few months ago. I assume a general contractor could do this.

Re: Bathroom Exhaust Fans
are you replacing one or adding one where there is nothing? if you are replacing its very easy DIY or a handyman. If its totally new you need electric run to that spot plus a vent added to your roof or attic so its a bigger job.

Re: Bathroom Exhaust Fans
If I need stuff like this done I place an ad on craigslist. TONS of handymen on there looking for work due to this crappy economy. And most don't overcharge either.

Thanks - this is a new fan to be installed. The prior owner had the bathroom done but never installed a fan.

Re: Bathroom Exhaust Fans
we simply tried to replace ours (it wasn't vented out the roof), this caused a leak that we couldn't fix. had a roofer come in and he fixed my dhs boo-boo. I wonder if a roofer would do this roof (assuming you are doing a roof vent, not a side of the house vent)...
