Re: Bathing suit poll

Absolutely...if you can pull it off and look good, why not?

I personally would not get in one pre-preggo, lol.

Re: Bathing suit poll

I voted yes, I am going on a cruise on Sat. and at 18 weeks love my little belly and am not embarassaed to show it. My mom did not really agree. So I figured I would turn to the polls!

Re: Bathing suit poll

I couldn't have done it, but I'm very self conscious. I would have had my tummy covered - plus I burn easily and don't think I would have wanted that stretched skin exposed to the sun.

Bigger reason I don't think I would have worn a bathing suit at all - I can't shave down there b/c I can't see it. If I'm every preggers in the summer I'll be wearing shorts into the pool. Shaving my legs alone is such a hassle pregnant.Chat Icon

Re: Bathing suit poll

I did when i was 23 weeks along and i felt a little self conscious about it because i didn't have a definite baby bump then. I do now and i think i'd continue to wear the bikini. Chat Icon

Re: Bathing suit poll

Not something I would personally do.

But I don't think a baby belly should ever be something to be embarrassed or self conscious about. So if you are comfortable with it - go for it!

Re: Bathing suit poll

At 18 weeks, yes.

When we went on vacation I was 25 weeks and my bikinis looked a little bit too revealing. I bought a tankini to wear instead.

But at 18 weeks I would've worn my bikini!

Re: Bathing suit poll

I went to the pool with my big billy a few weeks ago in my regular bikini. I felt silly at first to be honest, DH thought I looked great and its our little peanut in my belly and we are proud! I would cover up in a towel every once in awhile though, but nobody stared or anything. Just go for it! Chat Icon

it's fine if others do it, but not for me. I normally have a very flat stomach so I will be very self conscious about it. I think I will be avoidin g a swimuit all together this summer

It's okay if you're comfortable with it. I personally wouldn't be. But if you are, more power to you!

At 20 weeks I wore one, but wasn't really showing yet.

I was 27 weeks preggo on my Baby Moon so I did not. I wore a tankini type with normal bikini bottoms.

I say wear one if you feel comfortable.

The first picture here is my belly at 20 weeks. The second is one of my tankinis with a skirt at 27 weeks.

Re: Bathing suit poll

While I think its more than ok, I can't do it. I would feel comfortable and don't have that super cute preggo bod to sport one. I'm definitely not offended, I say go for it!
