Bathing a toddler

My son will not sit still in the bathtub. We were using the blow up ducky until now but he is definitely growing out of it. What do you use for your 18-24 month old, if anything?

Re: Bathing a toddler

DS is one and we have had in in the big bathtub for several months. We give him stacking cups to play with to keep him occupied.

I'm strange. I can't put her bare bottom on the tub Chat Icon Sure I clean it, etc but I don't want her bare vajayjay on the tub. So she sits on a towel. She has tons of bubbles and toys and stays happy Chat Icon

he's in the tub. We have bath toys to keep him occupied. I wont say that bathtime is stressfree for me however. Everytime he goes to stand up I want to Chat Icon

Re: Bathing a toddler

DS was in the big tub and would move around a lot. We would try to get him to stay still with toys. Once he saw DS2 back in the duck tub, he wanted back in too. So at 2.5 yrs, he's in the blowup duck tub!Chat Icon

Re: Bathing a toddler

My kids are too bad in the bathtub so I make them take showers.

Re: Bathing a toddler

Around 11 months I started putting them in the big tub. They do stand up but I make them sit back down with threats of spanking or time out. Now that they are 2 I have markers for the tub and they also like to take their toothbrushes inChat Icon whatever works!

I use the big tub and get plenty of bath toys to occupy him.
