Basement / Cellar Door
I have an entry to my basement that isn't above ground. I have been trying for the life of me to find someone to give me a reasonable quote for a cellar door but cannot.
I'm in Freeport if that matters.
Please help and Thanks in advance.
http://www.cellardoors.com/ --> this is what I'm looking for.

Re: Basement / Cellar Door
There is a guy on 110 in Farmingdale that sells and installs them. My neighbor just used him and I think she said it was $1000 installed. She said they did a good job. He is over buy The Melting Pot

Re: Basement / Cellar Door
Thanks for the input. I think that is too much but I could be wrong. I just cannot see paying $1,000 for a cellar door. I'm thinking about trying to piecemeal it...get the door and then finding someone to install. I'm looking online and the doors are between 250-400. The installation cannot be $600. If so, I'm in the wrong business...lol.
