Base Escentuals - drying?

I tried a sample of BE today and I find that my skin feels a little tingly and slightly dry this evening. I normally dont break out or react to new products at all.

Anyone else experience this?

Generally, there is an ingredient in regular Bare Minerals that sometimes triggers skin irritations. You might want to try the Matte, it is missing that ingredient. This was my problem. Also, as to dryness, if you have dry skin, a powder may seem to exacerbate it. Did you moisturize before putting it on?

Thank you SO much. I did use moisturiser before hand. thankfully this was just a sample that I got yesterday so it doesnt matter too much if it doesnt work - I was just curious to see what I thought of it. Also the lady gave me the color she thought suited my skin color the best but I look completely washed out with it.

Also try the moisturizing mineral veil on top... it's less drying than the regular mineral veil

same thing happened to me. I got an Ulta giftcard for xmas, so i bought the starter kit. First, I didnt care for the coverage, the color was just not right, eventhough i sampled/blended a few colors at the store. When I tried it the next day, my face felt a little itchy too. I wasnt impressed, so I returned it and they gave me a refund.
