 Bars in Babylon area
We just moved to West Babylon this summer and we have friends visiting this weekend that we want to take out locally. We don't want a dance club, just a place where 25-30 somethings can chill.

Hey Neighbor! I'm in West Babylon too!
Argyle Grill Horace & Sylvias Both are on Deer Park Avenue just north of Main Street.
Also if you want to go for a nice dinner, I recommend Peter's right next to the Post Office on Main Street.
  Have fun.

I second the Post Office. Nice atmosphere, they have tables where you can sit and good appetizers to munch on.

 Re: Bars in Babylon area
does anyone know anything about that bar "mary Carroll's"? It looks nice from the outside, but I've never been.

definitely a college crowd there. I find it to be a little "seedy", but that's just me.

 Re: Bars in Babylon area
All the places mentioned above are good. Babylon is a great town to hang out in.
I had my 30th Bday party at Mary Carroll's. It's a smaller bar with a younger crowd, but it worked for my party b/c we rented out one side of the bar and had food brought in. It was good for the few hours we were there. But for more atmosphere, I'd check out the other bars already mentioned.
  Have fun!!!
ETA: There are also a few really good restaurants in Babylon you should check out. In addition to those already mentioned above, check out Kotobuki (sushi), Don Ricardos, and there's a Thai Restaurant next door to Mary Carroll's thats good.
