Baptism proxies...
Does anyone know how this works when you need to have proxies stand in during the Baptism? Do you know how it works and the "rules"? I'm still waiting to hear back from my church about it. I thought I'd ask here in the meantime. Thanks!

The secretary from the church stood in when my youngest sister was being baptized.

Re: Baptism proxies...
My brother's children had almost all proxies (don't ask). It's not a big deal to the church. I know the official godparents should be practicing, confirmed Catholics (at least one has to be).

Re: Baptism proxies...
If you don't have someone who will stand in as proxy, the church can provide them. If they have a Baptismal Committee, it is, usually, one or two of them.
