I cut bangs this past spring and I couldn't wait for them to grow out. They LOOKED good, but IMO, they are so high maintenance. My hair is long and straight and I was used to just washing and going, not blowing out the bangs and then the front of the hair to match. I clip them back now.


ETA: I'm talking about a heavy full bang, not a sideswept look, which i love and can't wait to have again.

If they are cut just right i love them but i had them too and couldnt wait for them to grow out way to high maintance for me.......it is only hair try it if you dont like them they will grow back

Well this would depend on the person's face, hair type, and how much time they needed to maintain said bangs.

I bangs, more specifically side bangs. I have curly hair so bangs are not something I would really consider, especially since I'm not that great a styling.

I have long side swept bangs and I love them. I use a big barrel round brush to sweep them to the side. They really don't bother me at all unless it's really hot out. In that case I just pin them back out of my face.

Ive had bangs across the front of my forehead for about 10 year snow...my head is too wide to not (I looka lika man without them )

I now use my straightener in the morning to lengthen them and keep them in place

I just got sidebangs little over a week ago. I like them, but it is annoying when I want to put my hair up. Next time I'll def. get them longer if I opt for bangs again.

I've had them my whole life. It's how my hair grows. I have a huge forehead, so growing them out is not an option. That said, I HATE them. they never lay flat, they part some weird way, they grow way too fast, and they're super high maintenance. I wish I could grow them out.

I had side bangs- they grew out- then I got JHS - so they are super long

I can't wait to get them cut again!

For me bangs are not an option. I have a long face and they break it up. I definately look better with them. So I think it depends on your face shape. Or if you are getting the wrinkles in your forehead its the alternitive to botox and alot cheaper!

Yay...after a lifetime of cutting bangs, growing them out, cutting bangs, etc I decided I just like how I look with bangs better then without. I don't find they are incredibly high maintenance - a drop of gel and a spritz of hairspray usually keeps them in place.

I have long side swept bangs as well and I like them. In regards to maintenance, I have to blow out my hair anyways, so it really adds nothing to my normal routine.

I find them annoying-I also spent 2 years growing them out so I refuse to cut them again, i will do the side swept bang tho

i have side swept bangs also, i need them cut though, tehy are getting too long
