Bailey has been lethargic all day ...
we finally got him to eat some and drink.
I hope he's just feeling temporatily under the weather

How old is he? Did you call a vet? Or take him to the vet?

He's 12, we called the vet this morning and they just told us to keep in touch (but they were only open until 2) ... since he's improved a little since this morning, we are waiting and seeing ... he has slow growing tumors on his liver/kidney/intestine but unless he really seems in distress we will wait to bring him to our vet (she was not on duty today) on Monday if there hasn't been more improvement.

Speak with your vet about CHF..congestive heart failure..water fills up around the heart..I hope your beloved pet will be well soon.

We actually did! Hoping he would at least get a rise out of him!
He's much better today but still a little slow ... but he's eating & drinking again.
