Bag for pump?

Can anyone recommend a tote for their pump? My twins aren't here yet but unfortunately I have a few things to attend after they are born that will keep me away from the house for 4-5 hours about a month after they are born. I am looking for a tote to fit my spectra s2. I just don't know what to pick. I don't want the pump to break should the bag be padded? Also can you recommend a cooler bag to store milk?

Bag for pump?

I just used a regular tote that I already had - no padding. I pumped for 14 months with no issues.

I used a cooler that came free with a formula sample I got.

Re: Bag for pump?

I have the Spectra S2. It's pretty small and also pretty sturdy. I too use a bag that I already owned. Unless you're planning to check the bag on an airplane or something I wouldn't worry about having a bag with padding, any tote will do. I like using one with a zip top that can fit the pump, up to 6 4 oz. bottles (easier for me to just pump into the bottles and then use for daycare next day), the flanges/tubes/etc., a light cover in case I am pumping in the car or something (like a thin infinity scarf), hands-free pump bra, some milk bags in case I need them, and my cooler bag. I use a Pack-It. You put it in the freezer and the bag itself becomes an ice pack. My commute is an hour each way so I like having that and not having to deal with the ice pack itself.

This is the Pack it I have: Pack It
