bad stomach: update at bottom

So my stomach has been doing well throughout the pregnancy. But at around 19 or 20 weeks it went south...I can't figure out what it is? I have been having Bathroom emergencies if you know owhat I mean (TMI) lots of gass pains, sour stomach...and sometimes even a full tight feeling?
I thought maybe it was a new lactose intollerence but who knows...I have been taking a new prenatal so that COULD be it?
Or maybe its just part of pregnancy? I go to the doc today but I wish I knew what it was. It can come out of nowhere...wierd!

Um, I don't get much stomach pain or nausea but for 2 weeks now I actually have to run to the bathroom because I have the opposite of constipation

I did look it up and although constipation is a lot more common, diarrhea can be a symptom of pregnancy. I plan on bringing it up to my dr at next weeks apt.

Just crashing, but that was me through most of my pregnancy too. When pple complained about being constipated I was the total opposite. I feared going out in public b/c I had to go and use the bathrooms there when shopping

Asked the OB about it and he said just hormones messing things up. Not fun, but at least I didn't put on a lot of weight then lost it fast LOL

I think it's common with pregnancy. Some women get consitpated and others increased bowel movements.

( I noticed I get very gassy and have more stomach attacks)

Hormones just effect us all differently.



I bring it up with your Dr.

Ok so sounds common...ya I haven't been constipated throughout the pregnancy...and always went...now it's not as pleasant lol (if you know what i mean lol)

So I will ask but it is looking like its a pregnancy thing...woo hoo lol

Jen Im seriously having the exact same problem. I mentioned it to my OB last week and he said it was hormones. Im going again today and Im going to mention it again. It just started for me too. Ive also been getting nauseous again

Well with me.. I been fine with some exceptions. At 9w5d I can't drink milk I feel as if I drank sour milk! Also I'm trying to drink lots of water... but for some reason my body is not cooperating! I don't know what else to drink.. Besides everything is good!

ok so im glad someone asked this b/c i was up since 4 am with "bad belly" and couldn't figure out if it was pregnancy related or not...so good chance it is

Well here's the update..

I spoke to my doctor and got no real answer...
Could be just pregnancy hormones
Could be my prenatals have a stool softener (have to check)
could be what I am eating..

Basically it is what is it! lol No worries from the doc I guess lol

I have an upset stomach daily. My doctor thinks its just my body reacting to pregnancy.. she said it happens to some people. I didn't have any MS but I have this horrible stomach instead. Some days I am ok.. other days Im not. It stinks but honestly havent found anything that helps! I tried changing my diet but it didnt work..its just pregnancy. Do you have a sensitive stomach usually? I do.. and when I would get sick (even a cold) it would affect my stomach so its no surprise I deal with this now.

. Its just so funny most women complain of constipation meanwhile I think I have been going more during pregnancy then ever before
