bad run this AM

had a scary experience with my dog while running this AM... something spooked him and he stopped dead in his tracks and i kept going and OFF went his harness. i thought i was going to pass out i was so scared he'd take off and i'd never find him. he ran around to the sidewalk until he felt safe and i called to him and walked slowly towards him until i was thankfully able to grab his collar. with shakey hands i slipped his harness back on, clipped on to the harness, collar, everything (!) and we continued on the run. but i was thoroughly shaken at the possibility of having lost him and the rest of the run was horrible...

i can't believe that happened and how broken my entire focus was over the worry i felt. thank goodness everything turned out alright and my pup is sleeping happily on the couch.

he had a blast on the rest of the run totally unphased!

Aww that happened to me while I was watching my friends dog! Accept everytime I got close, she would take off again like it was a game!! What a nightmare!
I had a crappy run this morning too. I had a mild cramp that I couldn't get rid of the whole run. I kept going but it was just annoying!
