Bacon!!!
does anyone else eat bacon while pregnant.. I feel like I constantly crave it and I feel like I have it once a week.. is that bad? never really heard any limits on Bacon just curious if anyone else loves it like I do! lol

Funny because I usually love bacon but it isn't the same anymore! DH brought me home a burger for dinner last night and he added bacon. I asked him why, since I didn't order that and he said he figured I forgot since I love bacon so much. Weird how my taste buds have changed!

I have not stopped eating it since pregnant, its not something I normally eat all the time, so I eat it just as much as I normally eat!

I was told to get nitrate free bacon and I would be good to go...is regular bacon not off limits?! Oh my god my egg white sandwich in the morning might get a whole lot better....

I was told to avoid the Nitrates. I miss it... Im going to look for the nitrate free one.

Applegate farms I think brand is I get it at bjs its nitrite and nitrate free and they have the regular and turkey bacon and they are gooooood I was having a bacon egg and cheese sandwich every morning for a while there lol

It's definitely not a staple of my diet. If I'm out for breakfast (which is a rare occasion, unless I'm on vacation) I'll eat regular old bacon. I've heard people mention that regular bacon with nitrates is bad but my doctor never said anything about it. I definitely wouldn't eat it daily or even weekly though personally.
