Back up care for a child
In September DH and I both start new jobs. I found a program for DD that I love. One problem: it follows our school district calendar and there are a few days we will need coverage... How did you find backup care? Do daycares allow kids intermittently?

I wish you could. 250 miles each way is a bit steep for us.

Re: Back up care for a child
I just looked at a daycare today that offered flex cards for situations just like that. You buy a card that has 5 prepaid days on it and you use it whenever you need within a year. It was Tutor time in Holbrook. I don't know if they all do it or not.
