Back Pain...First Trimester
I was just wondering if lower back pain in the first trimester was normal. I am getting conflicting information when I did a search. Google is just awful sometimes.

yes it is.. i had it since week 6. i couldn't bend, lay down.. the only thing i could do and have some relief was the elliptical  needless to say i worked out every single day  anyway, yes its normal.. and 10 weeks later, i still have back aches, but not as much.

I started having bad back pains at 12 weeks and still have them. Are you having any type of cramping also or just the back pains?

Totally normal....I had it with DS and I have it now with this baby. Im 8 weeks. Its all your muscles loosening up and hips spreading, its a good time. DH had to rub my lower back last night bc it was killing me.

warm compress works wonders too.. and try stretching..

I had it for a few weeks early on. It felt like kidney pain to me, but now its gone i'm 9 weeks 2 days
