Back pain from suppositories?
Has anyone had this? I woke up early yesterday morning because of what feels like strong shooting/cramping pains in my back (mostly lower sometimes up to the middle). They have been around fairly consistantly since... and are killing me This morning I woke up to the same thing- and several times throughout the night. It got to the point that I couldn't get comfortable in bed and ended up going out to sleep on the couch. Is this back pain something I should be worried about or call the dr about? I asked a couple of ppl already and they had never heard of having back pain as a side effect from progesterone, so I figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone else had this... TIA!

I never had this as a side effect. Is it like back pain you would get with AF cramps?

Re: Back pain from suppositories?
I had it...it was the only side effect I had while on progesterone (I did the PIO)
here is something interesting for you..
Back pain in early pregnancy is generally because of the way that the hormone progesterone affects a woman’s body. The progesterone softens the ligaments and discs in a woman’s back that support her upper body. This pain will sometimes be accompanied by muscle spasms or cramps in the lower back as well. For some women, lower back pain during early pregnancy can also be caused by a urinary tract infection.
Hope you are on your way on getting a BFP!!!!!!

Yup- this is what I'm feeling. We drove to my ILs house today and I kept having the pain there- I kept jumping a little when it got really bad and DH kept asking me what was wrong- I guess it was noticeable
Did your pain last the whole time you were on the suppositories? Thanks for responding!!!
