Back pain
Besides a good backrub, what do you do for back pain. I am just about 22 weeks and by the night my back really hurts. I am a teacher with 22 active first graders and I stand for much of the day.

Re: Back pain
I see a chiropractor on a weekly basis. I swear that woman has a magic wand. Definitely worth looking into, esp if your insurance covers it.

Re: Back pain
Also remember to wear good shoes. I find that when I'm wearing shoes that don't have good support my back starts to hurt very quickly from standing.

Re: Back pain
i wish i had advice more than i do..in my 20s (weeks lol) and i didnt know what to do for myself. sometimes tylenol helped but overall, the most help was going into my car during lunch, lying back and just resting it..if you have heated seats and your doctor says a heating pad is okay, thats a bonus too. sorry!! but the good news is that in my case, the sore backache symptons did go away.

Back pain
I recommend finding a chiropractor whom specializes in pregnancy. If you need help finding someone local feel free to FM me. I practice in Islip. It works wonders!! I was able to practice for 9 mos with both of my pregnancies. HTH :)

Re: Back pain
stretches, good shoes, and I guess if it's really bad a prenatal chiropractor. I kind of just deal with it as part of pregnancy

Did you try wearing a maternity support belt? It helps me when my back is bothering me

Back pain
I tried a maternity support belt- I ended up returning it (didn't work). I tried tylenol that isnt much help. The best thing is I try to sit in comfortable chairs- alternate between sitting and standing (trying not to do either one for too long). I also have a pillow with me at all times to put behind my back when I sit.
