Back from the Dr!
So the news is really good!!
If anyone every has a questionable problem I HIGHLY recommend the Prenatal pediatric department at Columbia Presbyterian.
Okay the stomach started out small but by the end they were able to get a more "normal" reading. The fetal echo was perfect - and everything else (except a little high fluid - but itis within normal limits) looks normal.
Their take - they "think" everything will be okay. If there is a problem they expect it to be an isolated and minor TE fistula. BUT they said they will know more with monitoring me - if I continue to show a normal stomach then they will say there is 1% chance of a problem - if the stomach is small at the next few views then they will prepare for a minor problem.
I go back for another scan on 4/4 so PRAY for Kaitlyn and I that she is a good girl and fills her stomach nicely for the nice doctors so they can tell me she is perfectly fine.
I just have to say that the doctors and staff at the Prenatal Pediatric dept at the Columbia is amazing they are very caring, understanding and very helpful. I was scanned for over 2 hours today for sonos and they were able to schedule my next sono quickly and they tell me they will coordinate everything for me.
I am excited that everything is probably okay but afraid to get my hopes too high as she still might need surgery BUT at least if she does it should be a minor surgery.
